Leaders Different?

22 years ago, I found myself going through a divorce, suddenly with an 8 month old baby and homeless. That was the beginning of my journey. It didn’t seem like the beginning of something at the time, but here I am 22 years later telling my story from a perspective

that I would have never imagined. All of you are either at the beginning of your journey, in the middle of it, or close to getting to the other side of that life changing experience. Today, I have earned two Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Business Administration, I

am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor. There would be no way anyone could have

told me I would be where I am 22 years later, but I am also very certain that I made it by God’s grace as

I discovered God's purpose for my life.

I have worked in numerous leadership roles over the years and I've had experiences that were great and that fueled my growth and experiences that were terrible and that fueled my growth. Yes, I meant to say fueled by growth twice because both experiences

were necessary to take me to the next level. I have been working with leaders for many years from numerous backgrounds and

I am certain of a few things, if you have courage and you are willing to keep placing one foot in front of the other, regardless of the

obstacle, God will give you the right people with the influence, affluence, power, and resources to help you.
